Question: What Classes does Formula Pro run?

Answer: Divisions are outlined in the table below; FC1, FC2, FA, CF, FF, FCS. Each driver is responsible to display the correct car class (lettering) on both sides and front of the car adjacent to car numbers :

Question: Where and when do you race?

Answer: We race at the best tracks in the North East. Schedule can be found here.


Question: How much does it cost?

Answer: Race entry fees can vary based upon track.  Fees are set by the SCCA Region hosting the event.  You do not pay any more to participate as an FPR member.  Fees can be found here


Question(s): What are the rules, regulations and specifications?

Answer(s):

1) Formula Pro Racing Series follows SCCA rules, regulations and specifications.

2) AMB transponders are required at all races. These are the same as SCCA. You will not be scored if you don’t have a transponder.  Contact SCCA or your favorite racing supplier purchase one. Hard-wired model is recommended.

3) In the Club Ford (CF)class there is a spec tire rule. 

4) Formula Pro Racing is supported by multiple sponsors.  These include Averill Racing Stuff, John Berget Tire,  KFP, Pr1mus Racing Parts, MechanixWear, Indocil Art and Frisby Tires.

Decals for these sponsors , as well as FPR , must be displayed on the racecar. You will be given these decals at your first race. Please support our sponsors.


Question: How do I register for a race?

Answer:   Register on-line here.


Question: Do I need to be an SCCA member to Race?

Answer: Yes, you need an SCCA License. However, please note only members will be entitled to receive sponsor products or race points.
